One of the hazards of providing direct email links on our site is the ability for the unsavory characters that surf the 'Net to harvest those same email addresses and use them as both spam targets and, even worse, fake email origins. It appears that, once again, someone has decided to take the heat of sending junk email away from themselves and drop it on the shoulders of the innocent. Believe me, I hate spam as much as you do. If you are getting spam from an address that includes our "goase.com" domain look at the header closely. You will likely see a "From:" line that includes our email address but if you look at the "Return Path" or the "Received" tracking you will likely find the true culprit. At Automated Systems Engineering, we are committed to providing top quality deicing sensors and surveillance control equipment. Pharmaceuticals, get-rich-quick schemes, and refinancing your home are simply NOT in our business model. If there was anything we could do to stop it we would and, believe me, we have tried. We are sorry for any inconvenience but, until the day comes when an email system is developed that requires true confirmation of the source, our hands are tied and our spam filters will continue to work overtime.
